Bull Shoals Historical Society Museum  is open April through November, Thursday - Saturday.

Permanent exhibits include items from the construction of Bull Shoals Dam, with core samples from the dam construction site, workers' time tags and pay stubs.

Our city recently participated in the statewide "Welcome to Arkansas Program" presented by Scott Sudduth of the Arkansas Hospitality Program. The focus of the workshop was Tourist Safety. While most residents appreciate the fact that we live in a low-crime area, many of our visitors have concerns for their safety as they travel in unfamiliar territory.

From December 14th through January 3rd, Arkansas Trail of Lights is advertised across the state, inviting folks to tour a list of cities that have thrown out the welcome mat by decorating their town. We want to be one of those towns.
